An Interview with Jesse Vincent, CTO & Co-Founder of Keyboardio

This was an interview I did with Jesse Vincent on April 20, 2016. Looking back then I was still sort of rough at doing interviews, while Jesse has already developed the famous ticket-tracking system Request Tracker (“RT”) using Perl, a family of high-level, general-purpose, interpreted, dynamic programming languages. He and his wife Kaia made an elegant heirloom-grade keyboard for serious typists, and it raised more than $600,000 on Kickstarter! This man got his Wikipedia page, and has made impressive achievements in the intersection of software and hardware industry. I had the privilege to invite Jesse to for an interview when he came to Shenzhen in 2016, and that was the beginning of a wonderful friendship we share up till today, and I hope many more years to come.
